Greek Language School

class size environment. We offer Greek Language Classes for
both Adults and Children (K - 6th)

Classes will be held from 4:30 - 6:00 PM at:
Olney Elementary School
3401 Queen Mary Drive, Olney, MD 20832
Under the leadership and direction of Mrs. Lena Petropoulou, classes are held for Kindergarten through the Sixth grade focusing on our small school environment where individualized attention is paid to each child. The curriculum for our younger students is learning the basics of reading, writing and conversation. Our older students continue to build on the basics but are also exposed to the studies of Mythology, Geography, History, and Church Hymnology. This further promotes knowledge and appreciation for the rich faith, heritage and culture of our Greek ancestry which is the foundation and cornerstone of our modern civilization today. Classes in Greek dancing will also be offered to our school age children beginning on Wednesdays in October.
All classes are offered on Monday's and Wednesday's from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Olney Elementary School which is conveniently located off of Georgia Avenue in Olney, MD. There are still spaces available and it is not too late to enroll. Adult classes are also in the process of forming and scheduled to begin in early October. Registration and First day of class

Please keep in mind that no child will be admitted into class without first having registered. Please prepare one completed registration form for each child being enrolled.
Tuition Fees
Includes the cost of tuition and all books.
For parents who are Stewards of Sts. Constantine & Helen Church

The Table above shows the Tuition Fees for parents who are Stewards of
Sts. Constantine & Helen Church Greek Orthodox Church.
Stewards in good standing are those parishioners who, by the registration time,
have paid at a minimum of 75% of their 2008 Stewardship pledge.
Parents who are Stewards of other Greek Orthodox Churches in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area must submit written verification of current Stewardship from your church
and add $100 to the total tuition fees from the table above. A letter of good standing from your church must be in hand at the time of registration to be able to enroll your child.
Parents who are not Stewards of any Orthodox Church must add $500
(minimum stewardship obligation)
to the total tuition fee, making them a Steward of
Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
Full payment of fees is requested at the time of registration.
Payments may be made by cash, check or VISA credit card.

prior to registration to make arrangements.
Dance Classes
Registration for dance classes will be held in early to mid October.
